Would you RANT a motorbike?

Like in every country, also in India the colors are given by its inhabitants. Hanging around the picturesque and quirky towns in the Rajasthan state, my attention was inevitably captured by markets, animals and shop signs.

Many Indians speak a good English, although sometimes they write it how it sounds, making it look exquisitely local.

How can you not be enticed to try the Italiyan restaurant in Jaisalmer?

Would you prefer taking a local "taxi" or rant a motorbike?

Whether you are looking for memorable subjects for your pictures, unusual corners of civilization or colorful samples of humanity, India has it all. A real photographer's paradise, not only when it comes to landscapes.

How cute. Yes, ranting a motor bile sounds quite enticing.

We see some great signs here in Turkey, too - and as is always the case in these situations, I can't remember any off the top of my head! :)

Very fun. I love coming across signs like this. Please post more when you see them!

@Julia I know, I never have my camera when I see some of these pearls. In India I had my camera all the time, that's why I could capture some!

@Cathy Unfortunately I managed to capture only these ones in India, but China offers some pearls too, I need to carry my camera more often ;)

I can't even remember the last time I ranted a motorbike, probably just after I had smushed my car.
One sign I wish I had a camera for was a bar downtown Santiago that was themed like a cowboy saloon and was called Fart West! I'm sure someone did since they later removed the T.

Travel is all about experiencing new things, and even though it might be safer to rent a bike (than again, does anyone ever read terms&agreement?), I think I'd go for the rant... if things doesn't work out, you're left with the right to - rant! :)

True, and looking at those bikes, I believe ranting is quite a common reaction :P

They're fantastic, aren't they. Although I have to say, I've seen some pretty great in China too, I'll be more careful and take a photo next time. In fact, when I was in India, an Indian friend of mine made me pay attention to such gems, she too loves capturing them!

Yeah I guess I would rant a motorbike. I really cant say too much as others are a least able to speak and write some English were as I can only speak English.
